The boyriend took me to a works thing last night up in Birmingham (Solihull is really nice! Did we know this?). Okay, sounds boring but there was Ed Byrne! And ood (this kind, not this kind)! And lots and lots o alcohol!

The works thing was a health & saety awards... thing. IDK. I'm pretty much the antithesis o health & saety so I just told everyone the story about the time my dad severed a tendon at work to get out o wearing a suit to a wedding. I ended up sitting next to an Irish guy so we managed to duck out o the toast to the Queen (WTA uck) together.

Also, Iron Man = awesome. or some reason my boyriend hates comics but loves superheroes. I don't get this, but am very happy to watch lots o superhero ilms with him.
