I'm reading through my mum's Irish cookbook. You can tell it's an Irish cookbook because at the bottom of most of the recipes it says;

Hint: Extra boiled potatoes could be served with this, no other vegetables are needed.

The cookbook was sponsored by a margarine company, so every single recipe has margarine in it :S
