I'm reading through my mum's Irish cookbook. You can tell it's an Irish cookbook because at the bottom of most of the recipes it says;

Hint: Extra boiled potatoes could be served with this, no other vegetables are needed.

we brought one back ireland published by the courtown county council titled Easy Recipes Cook Book and has contributions from the local villagers. most of the recipes are traditional dishes like bacon and cabbage, cullen skink (ok, thats scottish) or lamb and champ potatoes but sometimes there are amusing recipes like this one;

Finglas Pancakes with beans

This is one recipe me mot would throw together when I was in the dog house after being out with the lads all Sunday.

You will need;
4 Findus Pancakes preferably mince or curry flavour
1 can of Tesco value beans

For the authentic touch simply deep fry the pancakes until brownish, heat up the beans and fire onto a plate.

Then fling it at the guilty party with the words "thats all you deserve for being out on the ******* lash ya ******"

This meal should be accompanied with strong Miwadi.
