Valentines Day

Had a valentines party on Friday. It was more fun than I thought it was going to be (did I mention I never really liked valentines day, not even the ones where I had a boyfriend?). Watched Jerome doing his crazy dancing, & watched all the women stay out of Drunken!Etienne's way. Except me, as he was sober enough to realise that trying it with me might be & bad idea, or possibly his last. Creepy Rob, on the other hand, was on his best behaviour. You have no idea how scary that is. He keeps pretending not to know what I'm on about when I tell him he could flirt for England. I really wish he would drop the innocent act, it's so annoying. Although he did make a beeline for me at the start of every slow dance, so maybe he's not entirely reformed yet. I think I'd just get bored if he was. Git.

Spent quite a lot of the evening having a 'men suck!' bonding session with the ex girlfriend of the guy I fancied in September. Very weird, but nice girl. We decided to hold an anti valentines party on Monday - you're all invited! Apparently I'm the most reliable bartender when drunk, so Jamie has given me the bar keys for the whole week! (He's in France). I think he would have given them to Bobbie, but he disgraced himself so badly on Friday Jamie wouldn't trust him (he got so drunk we weren't allowed to serve him anymore. I wouldn't mind, but he was BEHIND the bar!)

P.S. does anyone know which song the line 'shes so high, high above me, shes so lovely' comes from? I heard it in a shop earlier & its been bugging me ever since!

Edit: Its ok, I got it - it's by someone called Kurt Nilsen (no it doesn't mean anything to me either)
