I've just been hit by several hundred hailstones the size of golfballs. I'm not kidding. They've dented the car. It's been raining for about ten minutes (with thunder & lightning for the last twenty) & Luton is already flooded. Yay for living at the top of a hill!

I am refusing to go out until the thunder stops because I am a lightning magnet. In the last few years lightning has hit a window I was sitting behind, & powerlines that I was standing underneath (they go sproooiiing like a ruler twanged on a desk). Mum knows this, so she has unplugged everything, & covered all the mirrors. It's absolutely crazy round here.
