Mum finally wrenched the remote control from my cold, dead hand today. And went straight to Animal Planet, as usual. I suppose it was better than her usual second choice, BBC news 24. I'm just not sure I can take that seriously anymore. I keep expecting aliens to pop up.

Anyway, there was a documentary about ravens on animal planet, & noone got why I found the ravens names funny.

They were called Nevermore, Lenore & Quoth.

My parents this morning: Lost! Rome! Lost! Rome! But you don't need to see Lost, I bought you the book! (as requested bbd bought the big damn televisual companion to Lost book) You know what happens anyway! But I need to see Rome to know how it happens!

I nearly bought my mum that book. She loves Lost. We went on holiday a few weeks after it started & she made us sit in the areas of the plane where the survivors sat. I had to explain to the stewardess why she was doing it
