I've been working all this week, so I've kind of missed out on the build up to Christmas. I'm catching up by watching 'A Christmas Carol' & now I'm happy. Although that could be because I got paid today! Woohoo! And I don't have to go back til Wednesday! And my boss has finally stopped playing fairytale of New York on a loop!

I also taped & watched Benji, which was my favourite film when I was about five, & resulted in the last twenty odd years of 'can I have a dog?' every birthday & Christmas. However, being a film involving animals, I still cried. I really have to stop that.

Am watching Bridget Jones on TV. Have decided the reason that Elizabeth Bennett is a better character than Bridget Jones is because when the man Elizabeth hates asks her out she fucking tears a strip off him. She does not witter on to her mates about how sweet he finds her faults.

Yes I do realise this sounds like hipocrisy coming from me. That is why I would make a v bad character in a book.

Edit: Although it is nice at the end when Bridget does the exact same thing to Mark
