Geeky parents are the greatest! I went to my first convention when I was six with my mom, who was all, "I'm not a geek, I just love Star Wars and Star Trek :D" and went on to DM a tabletop RPG for her four kids when we were in elementary school. For Mother's Day the past two years we've seen Iron Man 2 and Star Trek XI. She may be in denial, but it doesn't stop her from doing amazing geeky things with us.
