I am currently on ALL THE COLD MEDICINE IN THE WORLD in the hopes of being able to marshal a cross country tomorrow, so this should be interesting.

So the running is going really well. I'm up to 30 minutes at 10:30 minute mile pace. I got to use the lovely showers at Vauxhall for the first time tonight. Lovely, that is, until I slipped and landed flat on my back.

I may actually live in a cartoon.

Also I'm frantically finishing my big bang (it's due next week WTF WTF WTF), attempting nano, and plotting two bones fics, which is why there's been no trace of me lately. HELP.

I'm back from Ireland! And I want to go home again :( My cousins the osteo-archaeologist and the guy doing a PHD in bone regeneration using stem cells made me watch Bones. And then the_wanlorn made me watch more. ALL I EVER WANTED WAS A SHOW ABOUT MULDER!SCULLY AND SCULLY!MULDER FROM BAD BLOOD. THANK YOU WORLD. Except Zack is my favourite and I have been made aware of why this is a bad idea :(

I love the new album. I always love the commercialy albums they only put out to make money.

I have been rewatching G vs E, a show which probably no one but me remembers. I still love it rly hard. Except I watched the one where the get trapped in the falling elevator and then GUESS WHERE I GOT STUCK TODAY?

Also my hometown is having their race week and it's on TV. My tiny town is on the telly! I can see the church! And the factory! And the cattle mart! And... yeah, that's it. Just over two weeks and I will be there :DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

Just watched one of my favourite costume dramas (look, I don't care if it has dinosaurs; the Lost World totally counts as a costume drama) and I'd gone long enough without watching the adaptation that I'd completely forgotten they pretended to kill off my favourite character. My dad and his mate marshalled a race recently, which involved them spraypainting 'HAZARD' over all the dodgy bits of ground in the park. Because they're idiots. They would probably have gotten away with it except the guy clearing up after them is a Police Sergeant. Because they're idiots.

So tonight I went up to the running club with dad, and we were greeted by "There's my suspect!" The guy was handing his phone around showing everyone photos of the mess they'd made. Fortunately dad's mate was away on holiday, so we just put all the blame on him. "I can tell there was a third person involved in this!" said the guy. "Know how I can tell? Because it's spelt right!"

Thing about Sherlock that will be of no interest to anyone but myself and possibly buzzylittleb: That's not Baker Street, that's the very top of Gower Street. I can see my uni and my old halls of residence on all the exterior shots!

I visited tazzio on Saturday and we had a barbecue in a fire bucket.



Which ended in us playing 'lets see what shit will burn' and getting called pyromaniacs. Also, Taz has recently discovered alcohol and got completely wasted on two cans of cider. It was sort of impressive.

And I wrote fic. Not quite sure how that happened.

I am sure I don't have to tell you how awesome the A-Team was. Because it was the most awesome. I am rethinking my position on Jurassic Park being the greatest movie of all time. Also: kinkmeme.

8.40pm: It's 56 games all and darkness is falling. This, needless to say, is not a good development, because everybody knows that zombies like the dark.

Also, I inadvertently may have spoiled my mum, who doesn't get to see it until tomorrow. ( More spoilers! )

And in non-Lost news, the window I was sitting next to burst in the heat yesterday. I didn't even know that could happen! Apparently it was the temperature change of 15C in a week that did it, rather than the actual temperature.

My father has gone and told everyone that I'm playing in Wembley tomorrow. I mean, I am playing in Wembley, but not in Wembley, you know?

OH GOD I AM SO EXCITED FOR THE A-TEAM. IT IS RIDICULOUS. BUT LOOK AT THEM! LOOK!

The Losers is everything sohotrightnow said it would be and more. Like, her recs are always decent but OMG THAT FILM IS AMAZING.

ETA: AND NOW DAVID CAMERON IS PRIME MINISTER THIS IS THE WORST MOOD WHIPLASH EVER WHAT THE FUCK WHAT THE FUCK.

My entire enjoyment of media has been shaped by watching the A-Team and Jaws as a toddler. Everything.

Today I voted! And then helped my dad break into a building site to see why his company hadn't been given the contract. It's because they're still sorting out the sewage system and they haven't started the groundwork yet, moron.

I decided to watch District 9 earlier (mainly because I got myself excited over the A-Team film already and I wanted to see if Murdock was any good). This was a bad idea. I occasionally have eczema on my fingertips and today it is particularly bad. So I was watching the film, absent-mindedly picking bits of skin off my fingers, then he started picking bits of skin off his fingers.

Then there were claws. DNW claws!

Had one of those weekends where you just. Don't. Stop. I had to play a football match, organise a fundraising race night in the pub, go clubbing (well I didn't have to but I wasn't going to sleep anyway), go to London at 5:30am to take a bunch of running coaches around the marathon course to see how their runners were doing.

My dad, who likes to watch from on high, found a new perch.

I am finally watching the rest of BSG! I got horribly annoyed when they killed Starbuck and stopped. Someone please tell me why I am shipping Roslin/Baltar?
