I read so many comics this weekend

I love Dark Avengers. They're sort of like if Marvel did Secret Six (although as much as I love Bendis, he's no Gail Simone). Daredevil Noir is like NOIRNOIRNOIRNOIRNOIRNOIRNOIRNOIR which, you know, it would have to be. Deadpool Suicide Kings looks pretty awesome, but the highlight was this from Thunderbolts:

Dark Avengers are my favouritest. Did you see them in Incredible Hercules? Osborne has to decide between trying to kick Herc's ass and saving a boat full of civilians that &Amadeus Cho; got Herc to damage as a distraction. And Ms. Marvel, where Karla is a complete psychopath! ILTHEM ALL.

Is that the one where he saved the woman from being mugged then shot her in the head? I have to admit, I thought they were going to chicken out and have him be all heroic.

Not going to lie, I'm a complete Normanwife so I'm fairly biased but I fucking adore DA. Norman and Bob's relationship is utterly adorable and I love that he has been confirmed as genuinely trying to be a hero.

If you haven't read Ellis' reboot of Thunderbolts I seriously recommend it. Norman is fantastic and Penance gets mocked/helped by various people.
Norman also deferats the skrull Captain Marvel by being nice to him which makes me think he has sympathy for all mentally ill characters.

First two books are Ellis last (pre Dark Reign) is Gage but he manages to keep the tone perfectly.
Everyone is wonderful. Norman is charismatic/psychotic and not over Peter at all. Bullseye is alternated shown as terrifying and gets a wonderful comeupance. Songbird and Radioactive Man are heroes through and through. Swordsman is creepy. Gargan is kind of adorable in his own weird way. Penance works, kind of and Moonstone is frightening as hell.

One of Us One of Us One of Us!
If that was you on meme, I replied about your next step in norman appreciation. I can't remember what page we were on though :/

You read the Gage one offs and SI arc?

Oh man, I saw that joke coming as soon as the first page loaded, but it's amazing anyway :DDDDDDDDDDDDDD

Who's in Dark Avengers? I can't remember if that's a thing I wanted to check out or if I'm thinking of something else-- I have the vague impression there are a whole bunch of Dark and Noir things going lately but I might have just imagined the whole thing, IDK.
