Awards thing

I don't even know what I was at, but I ended up drinking with my MP (yay Old Labour socialists \o/) and the manager of my local football team. And his lovely shiny trophy.

The guy giving the speech was showing off his silver medal and my dad piped up "Didn't get the gold, though, did you?" and I had this moment of 'oh. He does this with everyone. Wish I'd known that twenty years ago.'

I am going to see Arsenal next week. I hate Arsenal. Wear my Spurs cap, y/y/mfy?
