More Jane Austen

I love Northanger Abbey bestest :) Okay, Henry Tilney does absolutely nothing for me, but it's an awesome story. More satire than any of her other works, & I'm always reminded to read more of those Gothic Novels.

Addendum to the last post: I was forcibly reminded by my Aunt that I once got banned from playing cowboys & indians because I tied my cousin to the washing line & told her I was going to scalp her & sacrifice her to the Indian gods to make it rain. I WAS TWELVE, OKAY?
It was only a small axe.

I've never read any Jane Austen at all, I think it's something to do with me being a Northern pleb.

I wouldn't have read it myself, except my friend was doing Pride & Prejudice for English & got so annoyed with it he threw it at my head.

Ahh I can't believe I forgot to watch! Now I'm annoyed and stuff.

And I used to try to convince my sister to let me mummify her. I never actually got to the tying-down stage, though.

I would have liked to try & mummify my cousins. The closest I got was the time I locked Jack in the barn & left him there.
