I may have a new favourite Bond movie... Went to see Casino Royale. It's extremely good (Tip: take a boy with you - you'll be too busy watching him whimpering & attempting to get into the foetal position to notice the torture scene).

Of course, between lol_meme & my sheer lack of impulse control I couldn't keep my mouth shut (see title). Again.

At least it's not as bad as the time I saw 'Passion of the Christ' at World Youth Day (big Catholic pilgrimage thingy - hey, it was a cheap holiday!). I'd been avoiding it 'cause I was sure I'd end up singing 'Always look on the bright side of life' at a really inappropriate time. I was almost right.

It was in this big stadium, full of priests & nuns, & the guy who played Jesus was sitting right across from me. All I'm going to say is: if they're going to make the chief priest in the film say "He's not the messiah!" to Pontius Pilate, there's only one way I can respond.

"He's a very naughty boy!"

Not my fault if the stadium's really echoey. That Jesus guy gave me a really dirty look, too.

I definitely recommend it. I'm half making plans to see it again, & I almost never go see films twice. And I need a James Bond icon!
