Last week I noticed I'd bitten my lip quite badly (I've been forgetting to wear my gumshield at night; guess it's not just my teeth I grind!), then today I woke up with a hole in my lip! Yeowch!

I'm thinking of chemically straightening my hair, as it has more kinks than a BDSM dungeon. Any one know anything about this stuff? I have a mortal fear of anything with the word 'permanent' going near my hair.

Lastly, for anyone who has BBC4; Terry Pratchett interview tonight at nine!

Kinks! *giggles* I know nothing of chemical straiteners for a reason. My hair is shorter again.

I have a friend who has her hair chemically straightened. It's supposed to be 'permanent' but she has to have it redone every 6 months or so. She says other than the occasional dryness (rectified by deep conditioning treatment) she doesn't have any problems with it.
