In Which Trace Was Brainwashed By Her Evil Boyfriend & Attempted To Cheer On Arsenal

Watching the football. Commentator: 'This is classic Arsenal, here'

No it's not! They're being interesting!

Did anyone else know Neil Gaiman wrote a book based on Howl's Moving Castle? He even got Diana Wynne Jones to have a read through before he finished it. I'm kind of amazed. That was my favourite book when I was a kid & he's made a really good job of it.

No, I didn't know, does that mean you're doing the neil or pterry thing up in london?

Neil was today at Forbidden Planet, & I only found out yesterday, so no to that one. I don't know what Pterry's going to do (but I did buy Thud last week). I know you can't stomach Diana Wynne Jones (I couldn't stand Lives of Christopher Chant, myself), but try Stardust by Neil.

Later this week, I think, at the IoE in assoc with Blackwell's... you know, the whole talky thing going for him there.

*is sad*

*is also sad from lack of being able to see Pterry*

Have you had a look at Wintersmith yet? I always end up nicking your hardbacks & now I can't *whine*

I can't believe I've never heard of this before! What's the book called?

It's called Stardust, & it's about what happens when you catch a falling star. I definitely recommend it!
