London will be hosting the Olympics. Dad, an athletics obsessive, is totally ecstatic. He got about 30 texts within ten minutes of the result being announced, although I do have the privilege of being first. Dad has mastered receiving texts, but still has to be trained in sending them. Bad dog! No TV.

Mum wants to see the opening ceremony, dad wants to see the marathon & I wouldn’t mind a bit of football (so what’s new?)

Has anyone noticed the attitude the English journalists are taking to the poor French? It's like a posh version of;
"You suck! You suck!"

Thats not very nice. Nobody likes a bad winner
