Rachel is currently very amused by the state of my hair. It was purple, but then I got bored of that & tried to dye it back brown. Its gone... slightly... well... orange. Fortunately this is beginning to wash out, but guess what?

It's still purple underneath. It wasn't even permanent dye! I may dye it blue next, just to teach it a lesson.

But I can't. Not until after my cousins wedding. Cos my dads family? They make the inhabitants of the town in Chocolat look broadminded. Then again they also make the inhabitants of the town in the League of Gentlemen look normal.

Once, there was the anniversary of a priest being hanged by the british army. So they decided they were going to re enact it. They really went for it, too. Apparently it was very accurate. They only forgot one thing.

To inform the outside world. Coachload of Dutch tourists pull up in the main street just in time to see frenzied mob lynch a priest.

Dutch tourists handbrake turn it & practically fly over the bridge on their way out of town.

No more tourists for a long time after that. Guess THEY didn't forget to tell everybody.
