Yes, I know I've been neglecting my lj...
...but I've been busy! I've had football matches, conferences, trips to Cambridge, bar lunches, Christmas parties, essays, diagnoses & Tazzes. I'm exhausted!
We lost the damn football. My one source of pride is that we didn't concede til I came off the pitch. I was taking my boots off when the goal went in. We'll get those dirty bastards next time!
The doctor says I'm anaemic so I'm taking iron tablets. Pity, I liked looking like a vampire. Also, every time I've ever taken vitamins I've gone all ADHD & then put on a stone. Neither of which is pretty.
Taz is home! After much larking about at the airport we finally got on the tube home. I could hardly let the nice muslim girl with all the luggage take it by herself. She'd probably get shot.
King Kong is on telly (1933 version). I got subjected to the remake when I was two & have loved it ever since. I actually kind of like the remake, even though it does really suffer from lack of dinosaurs. Yes, I know this is considered blasphemous, it was just a bit more suitable for a small child. I'm gonna end up watching the new one about four times with different people. There is only one problem with this.
I cry.
Every. Time. I. Watch.
I'm so screwed.
On the plus side I made Rob watch Dr. Who & he loves it. We haven't even got to his doppelganger, Captain Jack, yet!
