I have this one really really competitive friend. She is perfectly nice! Until it's me vs her and then it is like some kind of deathmatch. We used to play hurling on a team together and caused each other more injuries than I ever got from all the teams we played put together. Even the really dirty ones. Up until this weekend, I had never played against her in a proper match. Then we brought more players than they did and they had to borrow a couple, including me for the second half.
And then I ran rings around her and it was so, so satisfying. Even the bit where she threatened to headbutt me if I scored and sulked when I did. And I maybe sort of broke her finger a bit.
Oh, also! To kill time before our team meeting earlier, my friend who just started working at a locksmith's told me all about how to crack cheap safes. It was awesome.
I love the episodes where I just spend half the time going "WHAAAAAAAAT?" Apparently I ship sideways Sun and Jin so much harder than their regular counterparts? Ben appears to be recovering \o/ I think I mostly just want the beach people to hang around pissing each other off and forget the rest of Lost.
