Next time people will believe me when I say there are terrorists in Luton. There always have been, from the nice Northern Irish people who were my dad's friends & seemed to randomly turn up in newspapers after being arrested (cue 'hey, that's my boss!'), to the Al Qaeda members who openly canvased for new recruits just outside the town centre. They have been doing for the last ten years or so, well before anybody else had heard of them.

I was in Luton town centre this afternoon. Didn't even notice the bangs - you get used to such things there.

This is merely one of the reasons why it sucks to be from Luton.

P.S a second good reason is the fact that I can't drive & they've closed the station & I'm stuck here for the forseeable future! Grr!
